Cadah Goulet & Chris Hague celebrated their marriage at The Bellamy-Ferriday House and Garden in Bethlehem, Connecticut. Collins Entertainment was honored to be part of their wedding celebration. It was a gorgeous day and their ceremony and reception were both held outdoors. Tim Nosenzo Photography was there to capture all of the highlights. Fitzgerald’s Fine Catering prepared exquisite meals for family and friends and set up the tented reception.
For the ceremony processional, the parents and wedding party walked out to “Two Weeks” by Grizzly Bear and “Oh It Is Love” by Hellogoodbye. Cadah proceeded through the garden with her father to “Animal Tracks” by Mountain Man. Chris and Cadah prepared their own vows in a very emotional ceremony. The ceremony recessional began with “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne.
Once guests made their way over to cocktail hour, the bride and groom’s soundtrack included music by Minus the Bear, Sonic Youth, The Pixies, The Smiths, Weezer, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and CCR.
Each member of the wedding party were introduced to their own song. Cadah and Chris shared their first dance as husband and wife to Louis Armstrong‘s “La Vie en Rose.” There were two very special toasts from Best Man, Jay Holmes and Maid of Honor Cortney Larkins.
After dinner, I shared Cadah and Chris’ “Love Story,” which is something I like to do for couples. It is a fun way to share how they met, their first date, the proposal and many other memories that led to their special day. Shortly afterward, the couple cut their wedding cake. Immediately afterwards, Cadah joined the first man in her life on the dance floor; her father, for the Father/Daughter dance. The song chosen was “A Wink And A Smile” by Harry Connick, Jr. Chris shared a very special Grandmother/Grandson dance with his grandmother to the song “In My Life” by The Beatles .
Cadah threw her bouquet to “Single Ladies” by Beyoncé. Chris grooved to “Down By Me” by Jeremih Feat. 50 Cent as he removed the garter from Cadah’s leg. There was a frenzy of single guys there waiting to catch the garter to JAY Z ‘s “99 Problems.” The fun continued when the bouquet catcher and garter catcher were paired up together. The gentleman who caught the garter put it on the leg of the lady who caught the bouquet and was then asked to remove it! They were great sports! The song chosen was The Commodores‘ “Brick House.”
The dance floor had energy all night long! Cadah and Chris were surrounded by their closest family and friends for their last dance to Paramore‘s “The Only Exception.” It was a memorable and high-energy celebration. Congratulations Chris and Cadah!
