Patrick DiSalvo and Lindsay Smith exchanged vows at The Woodwinds and celebrated their marriage with their closest friends and family. Collins Entertainment was there to help create special memories. Scott and his team at The Woodwinds did an amazing job providing service and dinner to all of Patrick and Lindsay’s guests. In speaking with Scott, his approach to providing customer service is “to treat every bride as if she were my own daughter and if it were her wedding celebration.” David Frost Photography was there from start to finish working especially close with Patrick, Lindsay, the wedding party and friends and family.
Lindsay and Patrick shared a very unique first dance. They opened it up with Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and after a minute, transitioned into UB40’s cover version of the popular Elvis song with the same title! It was a surprise first dance that all their family and friends enjoyed. Patrick, Lindsay and I discussed the idea when we first met and I put together the mix for them to practice to.
Notable members of Syracuse Athletics wished Patrick and Lindsay all the best in a surprise slideshow presentation created and put together completely by members of the wedding party!
One of many special moments was when Patrick’s Best Man and brother, Andrew performed a comical musical toast with the help of Jason Lehrer on acoustic guitar. Lindsay’s Maid of Honor, Andrea Geoffrey gave a sentimental toast immediately following.
Lindsay and Patrick cut their cake to Elton John‘s “Your Song.” The Father/Daughter dance began with the strumming of guitar chords. The familiar melody transitioned into the smooth vocals of Larry Smith, the father of the bride. The song he covered and recorded was “My Girl” for their special dance! What could be more personal and special than that? Patrick and his mother danced to Willie Nelson‘s “Bring Me Sunshine” for the Mother/Son dance.
Their celebration was high-energy from start to finish and the dance floor was packed! Friends and family surrounded Patrick and Lindsay for their last dance and sang along to Elton John‘s “Tiny Dancer.” It was a memorable, fun, unique and elegant wedding celebration. Congratulations to The New Mr. and Mrs. Patrick and Lindsay DiSalvo!
