Jill Suzann Anderson and Timothy Michael McIntosh became husband and wife at St. Thomas The Apostle in West Hartford, CT and had a wonderful evening wedding reception at The Society Room of Hartford.

The vendor team included Michelle Neff from Dreaming Tree Events, Matt Branscombe from BSC Photo Studio, Gregg Kessler from GKESS Films, Kirsten Pechout at The Society Room. Michelle is the perfect wedding planner for any bride and groom to work with. She is attentive, laid-back and pleasant. Matt has an amazing gift for photography and Gregg as a videographer is organized, pleasant, creative and detail-oriented. The Society Room is visual landscape out of a fairy tale. It is the perfect environment for an elegant, fun and smooth-flowing reception. At Collins Entertainment, my goal is to ensure that every bride and groom’s expectations are exceeded and that their wedding celebration is unique and fun. There was a photo booth to add to the fun, along with a magician! Tim and Jill are from Chicago, and they wanted to also have a popcorn station for their friends and family to enjoy!

For the introductions, I asked family and friends to rise as the wedding party came into the ballroom. “Dance Yourself Clean” by LCD Soundsystem was the soundtrack for the introductions. Tim and Jill entered their reception from the top of the stairs of The Society Room dancing, and their guests cheered them on with great enthusiasm and joy! They shared in their first dance as a married couple to “Luna” by The Smashing Pumpkins. At the last guitar chord of the song, the room erupted with applause!

Tim’s Best Man, Jeff Barton and Jill’s Matron of Honor, Carey Perrotti gave two very well put toasts to the bride and groom. For the Father/Daughter Dance, Jill and her dad danced to “Hero” by Mariah Carey. Jill sang the lyrics of the song outloud to her father. Tim invited his mother to join him to “In My Life” by The Beatles for the Mother/Son Dance and gave her a heartfelt kiss on the cheek. Jill and Tim fed each other their wedding cake to the song “Love You Madly” by CAKE. One of many great moments, was when Jill climbed the stairs of The Society Room to the second floor balcony, and tossed her bouquet over her shoulder, down to the dance floor where the single ladies were anxiously awaiting! For Tim and Jill’s last dance, I asked all of their friends and family to form a circle around them as they danced a well known song by Pat Benatar called “We Belong.” As all of their friends surrounded them, the evening concluded with The Beatles‘ “With a Little Help From My Friends.”

Congratulations to The New Mr. & Mrs. Timothy and Jill McIntosh!
