Jennifer carefully feeds Michael and the the piece of cake makes it all the way into his mouth without a crumb falling. It is now Michael’s turn to feed Jennifer. He slowly shares a piece with Jennifer. Then, right at the last second, Michael does what Jennifer thought he was joking about earlier! He smashes cake all over her face!
So is this a good idea or a bad idea?
Here’s one thing to consider when you smash cake: You have spent so much time getting made up and ready. Should you decide to do this, you will have to make your way to the restroom and get cleaned up. This could take as long as twenty minutes and disrupt the flow of your evening. If you intend to do this, it is a good idea to inform your MC in advance during your final visit so he or she can plan accordingly for you. For example, if you smashed cake on each other’s faces, you wouldn’t want your DJ to open up the dance floor while you were getting cleaned up in the restroom with the help of your maid of honor. Your MC can offer you valuable ideas that will ensure your day will flow smoothly.
If you decide you want to smash cake, have fun with it! Keep in mind, however, for any groom intending to do this, that the honeymoon suite floor is a very uncomfortable place to sleep should you decide to surprise your bride with cake smashing on her special day!
