Meet DJ Houston
What really made me realize music was for me was when I watched movies like “The Matrix”, “Oblivion”, “Tron Legacy” and countless other movies that made me realize I understood how much emotion and power music holds. Music has the power to move you in many ways and create those movie moments everyone enjoys.Whether its creating a moving and powerful scene or attaching itself to core memories and bringing you right back to that time period when you listen to the same song years later.
I grew up singing and playing multiple in churches. Playing upright bass in orchestra and electric bass in jazz band. Playing in metal bands in high school and college. Now currently today I am an audio engineer, songwriter, producer and composer.
Music has always been my first love and the language I speak best. I enjoy sharing moments with others through music and creating memories that people will not forget.
Songs I listen to on my way to events: “Can I Call You Tonight?” by Dayglow, “Paradise” by Jaeger & Ricky Ducati, “Space Age Love Song” by Flock of Seagulls, “Blue Monday” by New Order, “Wish You Well” by Signal and Becky Hill, and “Take Me Somewhere” by DLMT–
